Corporate Culture
Corporate culture refers to the beliefs and behaviors that determine how a company’s employees and management interact and handle itself internally as well as with outside business transactions.Mamas for Mamas corporate culture starts with family. Family is an important part of our lives whether this be personal family and/or work family. Working every day with a group of people, particularly in a small company, such as ours, it is important that we maintain andpractice important values in our corporate culture while remaining professional.
We need to maintain a level of respect and kindness to all. Show consideration and fairness to co-workers and colleagues in all situations. This is important to maintain a healthy work environment. As equally as important as those mentioned above, trust and integrity is vitally important inside and outside of the company. Do what you say you are going to do. Keep your word, maintain our brand and integrity. The services we offer and how those services are presented and utilized says everything about us.
In addition, we must be able to accept change and be adaptable on many levels. This will help us succeed in our mission to poverty reduction. Working together as a team is essential, we are colleagues, we watch each other’s back and support each other like family. We give credit where credit is due.
Responsibility and accountability are the foundation of a solid team. Take responsibility for your actions, your triumphs and mistakes. Do not place blame, mistakes happen. They need to be looked at as a learning experience and how to move forward from that.
We want our team to be engaged and to have learning opportunities available to them so we can all grow and enjoy our daily work.
As a team and individually we agree to the aforementioned corporate culture agreement as well as adding to our daily vocabulary with colleagues and clients with the words; respect/fairness; trust/integrity; change/adaptability; results/orientation; teamwork; engagement; responsibility/accountability; learning/opportunities
