Across our communities, families are living with untreated dental pain, infection, and serious oral health issues simply because they cannot afford care. Public coverage is limited. Private care is out of reach. And for many, there is nowhere else to turn.
The result is quiet suffering, missed work, missed school, and health problems that extend far beyond the mouth.
The Fill the Gap Dental Program exists to change that.
This program provides access to essential dental hygiene and preventative care for mamas, caregivers, and children who are living in poverty or navigating crisis. For families who do not qualify for government support, or who have been left behind by existing systems, this program offers a compassionate, judgment-free safety net.
All clients are screened by our Clinical Team and supported based on demonstrated financial need.

Tooth Express is a mobile dental hygiene clinic dedicated to making oral health care more accessible and convenient. Our mission is to break down barriers to care by bringing professional dental services directly to those who need them.
We have partnered with Mamas for Mamas Calgary because the organization’s values align so closely with ours. We are inspired by the work that is carried out to support families, and we want to ensure oral health is part of the care they receive! We believe this program has the potential to grow into something even bigger, with support from sponsors to fully fund it and increase the number of families served.
As we launch this program, we’re committing to providing two dental cleanings per month at no charge to your community members, with hopes of expanding access and impact over time.Â
