Karlene Dawson

Vice President


Karlene has spent the last two decades working in healthcare, supporting healthcare workers navigate the complex system of health, safety and return to work. She has taught at Simon Fraser University in the Rehabilitation Management program and presented nationally and internationally on the topic. More recently Karlene left healthcare to support her and her husband’s rapidly growing online health and fitness business.

Karlene has had a previous board of directors experience serving with the provincial and national Kinesiology Association for a decade and concluding both terms as president.

As Vice President of the Mamas for Mamas Board, Karlene understands the commitment and passion that is required to support a rapidly growing charity organization. Karlene has and continues to support the organization in grant writing and fundraising opportunities to secure funding and ensure no Mama or child is ever left behind.
